On 25-26 April, the European Institution of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is inviting innovators from all over Europe to join them in Budapest for its annual conference, INNOVEIT 2016.
“This is our main event to celebrate innovators and entrepreneurs emerging from our current activities from our Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs),” announces Mathea Fammels, Head of Unit Policy and Communications. “It is the event where we try to inspire and be inspired, to share our experiences, exchange knowledge and build connections with other actors in the innovation landscape.”
Attendees of this year’s event will learn about the KICs current activities, see the latest innovations arising from the communities and network with Europe’s top up-and-coming innovators – five of which were currently featured in Forbes’ 30 under 30 Europe list.
They will also become a part of a wider conversation that EIT is striking up concerning fragmentation in Europe. “Our working title is ‘Join Forces for Innovation in Europe’. Under this title, we are bringing together the different innovations that are emerging from the KICs, but also two commissioners – Navracsics and Moedas – will both attend INNOVEIT,” shares Fammels.
Registration for INNOVEIT 2016 is still open. Sign up today by visiting: eit.europa.eu/innoveit
